Enterprise IT & Operations are responsible for ensuring that our IT systems in production work optimally and meet the requirements for, but are not limited to, security, performance, and stability from hardware and operating systems to databases and IT applications. The role is part of the CRM team, whose area of responsibility mainly includes sales, customer service, online/self-service, and CRM systems.
About the role
As an Application Specialist, you will be part of a CRM team with 10 colleagues responsible for IT applications for CRM, sales, and customer service. You will support the PeopleSoft application and other related CRM and sales applications. The central part of the role is to secure the system’s availability, stability, and performance, such as monitoring the systems, handling alarms, and troubleshooting production problems. Furthermore, the role includes analyzing and managing users and resolving error reports and customer complaints.
Together with the team, you solve all kinds of issues in any system, which is our responsibility. We constantly seek to improve ourselves and our way of working and encourage the contribution of new ideas and practices of routines and processes. A part of the role includes on-call services, one week on-call every five weeks.

To be successful in the position, we believe you have several years of experience in a similar role. You also have a burning interest in IT and a curiosity to learn new things daily. Since you will work closely with the development team and business, you can quickly get into in-depth technical details and convey pedagogically the essence of the message for internal users working towards the customer. You need good written and spoken English knowledge as we work internationally. Being a structured and analytical problem solver comes naturally to you, as you are motivated by new challenges.
Regarding technical skills, you need to know Linux, SQL, and databases. You also need to have previous experience with the PeopleSoft CRM application.
